Join the DC Preservation League for a members-only tour of the Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument.
The Belmont-Paul House was built in 1820 by Robert Sewall and was sold to the National Woman’s Party for use as its headquarters in 1929. As the epicenter of the struggle for women’s rights, the site was designated a national monument on April 12, 2016.
The national monument is a unit of the National Park Service’s National Mall and Memorial Parks.
